Oktoberfest Munich prices: what beer, water, food and a table cost
The Oktoberfest price list, item by item: a Mass by tent, soft drinks per litre, food, the Oide Wiesn, guided tours and table reservations, plus the spending per head the city works with.
A Mass (the one-litre mug of beer) costs €14.80 to €15.90 at Oktoberfest 2026, on average 2.38 percent more than in 2025. Entry is free; you pay for everything else.
This page gathers the prices that official bodies and travel guides have published for 2026, and keeps them clearly apart: official figures, city averages, guidebook estimates. Where no price list exists, we say so. All prices are in euros.
What does a Mass cost in 2026, and where is it cheapest?

Some booking platforms quote €16 to €17 for 2026. That matches no official figure; the tip is probably already included. The usual tip is 10 to 15 percent.
Why is a litre of water so expensive at the Wiesn?
Because the tent landlords serve soft drinks in the same one-litre measure and price them only slightly lower. For 2026 the city gives these averages per litre:
- Table water: €11.13
- Lemonade: €12.35
- Spezi (cola mixed with orange soda): €12.84
A litre of Spezi is therefore not far below the price of a Mass of beer. Water is free at the drinking fountains the city lists on the grounds for 2026. Bringing an empty plastic bottle saves the most.
What does the food cost?
There is no central food price list: every tent and every stall sets its own prices. Half a roast chicken (Hendl) was most recently €14 to €18, and Munich Tourism budgets €25 to €40 for a main course with a snack.
Tuesday is family day: many rides and stalls offer reduced prices until 7pm. No complete list of the participating stalls exists.
The biggest item of an Oktoberfest trip is on no price board in the tent: it is the room. The places to stay in Munich for the Oktoberfest show prices for individual nights, and weeknights are much cheaper than Saturdays.

The city's 2026 brochure states free entry to the Oide Wiesn from 9pm. The FAQ does not repeat this, so we treat it as a single-source claim. Nobody collects ride prices; they are only shown at the ticket booth.
What does a reserved table cost?
The reservation itself is free; what you pay for are food and drink vouchers. The official site gives an average of around €350 per table, and some small tents charge €50 per person during the day, €75 in the evening and at weekends.

How much does a visitor spend on average?
Three Mass already cost €44.40 to €47.70 in 2026, without food or tips. For spending per head on the grounds, the city has two forecasts that do not match.
A document from June 2025 expects €92 per visitor in 2026 and an economic value of €1.597 billion. A version from September 2025 gives around €90 for 2025. Both are forecasts, not measured spending.
